Can I break my lease with the landlord if my car and my boyfriend's car had item stolen from my apartment in Florida that is located in a gated community? The management company from the community has not done anything to avoid theft which has happen to others in the community as well

Probably not. Your lease controls your rights and obligations. Have that document reviewed by an attorney.
