If you break a residential lease and return the keys and the landlords get the keys back and make a point to get the keys back from you then by florida law is that letting you out of your lease?

No. YOu will be responsible for the terms of the lease. Until they rent the unit, you may still be responsible for the rent of the unit as well as any damages in the unit.

No. You are still responsible for the terms of the lease. You may be responsible for the rent until the unit is rented as well as any damages that may have been found in the unit.
