Can a lease be broken on the grounds that the apartment was broken in to and the tenant no longer feels saft?

Re: Breaking a lease

That may be possible. Some factors include the language in the lease agreement, whether the neighborhood has a predisposition for criminal activity, whether the landlord knew about the neighborhood's crime rate, and whether the landlord took any security precautions.
