Can a business not accept my personal check anymore just because a friend wrote a check to do me a fovor and his check bounce?

A business does not have to accept your check and can demand cash payment. You should not have anyone else, friend or otherwise, writing your checks for you.

A business does not have to accept a check. They did so as a courtesy and the fact that it bounced has validly led them to refuse the courtesy in the future.
