Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I had to change my living room rug out because it wasn't clean enough and causing people in my house to become sick..So I want to know can my landlord raise my rent for me changing the rugs before my lease is up?

I get the impression that you paid to change the rug, so why would the landlord charge you more on that basis? Maybe I'm not understanding your question. Regardless, If you have a lease agreement, the landlord can't raise the rent during the term of the agreement. You may be responsible for any damages to the apartment after you move out.
