Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I'm closing on a house in 1 week and currently there is a renter living in the home who refuses to move out. He was sent a 45 day notice to vacate and I'm being told he was aware the house was for sale when he moved in and that his lease states it is terminated upon sale of the house. I have not seen the lease however. I need to move into the home just after closing due to my current lease ending. Is there anything I can do to ensure the renter is out by closing?

1. you should have an attorney representing your interests

2. you MUST have a copy of the lease to make sure what is told to you is accurate.

3. what does your contract provide in terms of the tenant, is it the seller's responsibility to evict him or yours?

4. act quickly

Do not close, until you know about the status of the tenant.
