Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Three day Notice

Under Florida law, is the landlord obligated to serve a three-day notice asking for the ACTUAL amount of rent owed or can the landlord ask for a higher amount and then the judge will enter judgement for the amount owed?

In essence, if the landlord fails to demand the EXACT amount of rent owed, does he get nothing?

Re: Three day Notice

The landlord should not demand more than is owed, but doing so does not result in a forfeiture of the rent owed.
