Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

We were a few days late with our rent this month (which since has been paid). However the realtor handling the property went out to a local bar and told people we were being evicted. Do we have any legal recourse in this matter?

Only if she knew the statements were false when she said them and the statements resulted in damage to your reputation which can be monetarily quantified, e.g. you lose your job or business.
