Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
equal inforcement of rules & regulations
I live in a manufactured home community in east Orlando, Fla.
In discussions with several other park members, it has come to our attention that some tenants are receiving ''notices of non-compliance'' letters for violation of park rules and regulations while others with the exact same violations are not. Can we legally protest this, and if so, where do we begin?

Yes, you can protest this by meeting with the park management and discussing your views. If the park is privately owned, they can enforce the rules as they see fit, after all it is their park. If a number of tenants are upset, however, management will generally listen and take notice.
