Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I'm being evicted by my apartment complex due to them blaming my little brother for vandalizing one of the apartment buildings. They never called the cops to report it, all they said was their maintenance man saw him do it and that he asked my little brother if he did it and he said that he did. Which is not true my little brother never talked to the maintenance man. I have an infant under a year old and the Florida law states you have to at least have 30 days to kick someone out which they gave us 7 days. All in all my little brother is innocent and didn't commit the crime, other boys in the neighborhood did. Is there a way we can fight this, one because the police were never involved and if something really were to happen they should have been called in which they were not.

Take your lease to an attorney and have it reviewed. Prepare a response to the eviction notice that you received.
