Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I was evicted from a property rented through VRBO due to an evacuation order from St. Johns County, FL government due to Hurrican Ian because it was in a low-lying area. Am I entitled to a refund for the rental services that were not provided?

What does your contract say? If it's non-refundable, then no. If it is refundable for any reason or for force majeures, then yes. You should always read your contracts very carefully for items such as this.

It depends on what your contract says. If it says no refunds under any circumstances, then no, you are not entitled to a refund. If it allows for refunds for any reason, or for force majeure, then yes, you are entitled to a refund.
