Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
eviction consequences?
i am currently living in an apartment that does not allow pets. the
landlord discovered i had a cat and now they have given me a
seven day notice to either get rid of the cat or face an eviction. i
really don't like the place i am living and i wanted to know what the
financial consequences for being evicted/breaking the lease
would be.

Re: eviction consequences?
Check your lease, it usually describes what will happen in the event of a breach. Also, look to see if you can mitigate your damages, in other words, does the lease allow you to sublet?
