Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Eviction Motion to Dismiss
My Landlord filed an eviction case against me, I paid the rent into the registry and the LL told me that he would file a motion to dismiss. The clerk of court told me that the LL isn't allowed to file a motion to dismiss the case. Can he? If he is allowed to dismiss the case by filing a motion, will he still get my rent money that was deposited into the registry?

I don't know why he would not be allowed to dismiss his own case....ans he should receive the money from the court registry
