Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
eviction
i am renting a house in Jupiter Florida. The house is owned by a husband an wife that are in the process of getting divorced but are not yet divorced. The house is in foreclosure an I was not told this when i began renting the house. The wife is trying to evict me an she has already filed in the courts. I want to know what if any rights I have an if there is anyway I can stay in this house for a bit longer.

Yes, but you must defend the eviction.

Re: eviction
Foreclosure isn't a ground for the homeowners to evict you. Once the house is returned to the bank or the mortgage company, you will be evicted by the bank or mortgage company. Keep paying your rent and otherwise stick to your lease, and you can stay a while.
