fear for our safety
my car just got broken into this morning. I live in south st.Petersburg in a apartment community. it is suppose to be a closed up gated security with a guard in the front entrance. my husband and i now feel completely unsafe living here. we are under an 12 month contract and want to know if we can get out of it without paying the cancellation fee. due to the fact that they have not kept up with their part of the contract. the reason our car got broken into was because right behind our covered parking there is the border fence that is broken and everyday people that look to be up to no good, come in and out whenever they please. we have reported the broken fence ever since we first moved in, in February and nothing has been done. we feel that the community has great fault and want nothing else but to not live there anymore. please let me know if i can pursue this. thank you very much for your time and interest. hope to hear from you soon. and we also found out today that two apartments over next to us, there is a huge gang and are always bring up problems. we are seriously scared for our safey

You are probablyu stuck with the lease, but you should complain about the hole in the fense. Do it in writing and keep complaining.
