Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
In Florida, our previous apartment owner sold the property. That owner had a property management company that we have our lease through and we pay our rent to. Now there are new owners and they do not have leases with us, do not know what the terms of the lease are, what we pay in rent, and do not want us to pay our rent to the property management company but have not "legally" fired the property management company. What do we do?

Your written lease agreement remains effective. If that lease ended and you are month to month, your new owner is in control. Too many facts missing to really answer what you do. Suggest you review your lease with the current owner and come to an agreement on how you will move forward. hire an attorney if that does not work out.
