Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I gave written notice two months before as required but I realized I need to stay two more days. I requested to extend lease at least two more days so that in weekend I can move family {pregnant wife) and kid in the weekend. I've already taken new apartment but due to religion

and my wife being pregnant I'm only suppose to move after two days of my notice end date. Landlord saying can't change the move out date as he already leased to new tenant.

I've been in this house for almost 4years and I'm only asking for two more days.

There's no legal issue here. You gave notice that you'd be out by a certain day, then you realized you made a mistake. The landlord has leased the premises to a new tenant. Move your family into a motel for 2 days and take the hit.

Find alternative arrangements. As suggested moved to a motel and keep your things in storage for the days. the Landlord is under no legal obligation to accommodate your personal request.

All true; however, you could stay the 2 days and incur all the damages that you create for the landlord and new tenant.

Have the extra money? Otherwise move out earlier and into family or friends for a week. Then calm unload the moving truck into the new habitation. GOOD LUCK.
