Would a "good faith" clause in a lease by violated by a tenant inadvertently discarding bills sent in the mail addressed to the owner/landlord?

The lease has to be read in its entirety. the good faith you reference has to be reviewed in its context with the whole lease. you have a lease provision providing that you have to handle mail of the landlord./owner? The question is what does that lease provision provide.
