guest and pets

I live in an apartment complex in FL. My daughter and her 2 pound dog came to visit for a week. I currently have a dog on my lease...apparently the leasing office notice that we had an extra dog in the apartment and filed a complaint...They threaten to evict me if I don't pay an extra pet fee...when leasing an apartment are guest and thier pets not allowed to visit....

Check your lease and the paperwork you signed for the pet deposit. It will say. If it does not, then I would not think they can charge you an extra deposit for a 2 week stay.
