Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I am currently helping a friend out (for the last 6 months) who lost her job and cannot seem to find one. She is staying in my home at no charge but has given me an average of $100.00 per month for 6 months. It is now time for her to move on and she has threatened me with jail if I try to evict her. What are my legal options and how do I legally get her out of my home?

Just evict her. I don't see a jail issue unless you have been doing something against the law.

Why would you go to jail for evicting her? File the eviction papers. Check your local court's website or contact me if you need further help with this. Regards,
