Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Hi,
I was recently told by my mothers physician that she has dementia and is no longer able to live my herself in her apartment. She needs 24 hour supervision and needs to be on oxygen 24 hours a day as well. I have moved her into my home. The problem is that she has rented an apartment for the past 19 months. Can she get out of her lease with the letter I have from her physician?
Thank you for the advice.

1. you must petition the court to be appointed guardian.
2. That would be for the court to decide, but you have a valid claim
