Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

home intrusion

I live in a 350 unit apartment complex, the maintenance man entered my unit without my permission, on a Sunday afternoon.....I was going to the store, my roommate caught him in the unit. I immediately called the office and told them what happened they tried to call him on his cell,he did not answer, thus Mon. morning he said he screwed up and entered the apartment.....thus they fired him....is there any recourse for me? thanks

I am not sure what you think you may be entitled to? The apartment fired the man for his act. They took remedial action immediately.

If you were not harmed and nothing is missing, a sincere apology might be appropriate. Otherwise, you have no entitlement to anything.

Re: home intrusion

What do you want? Unless he stole or damaged something, it does not sound like you have any damages? Arguably, they may have breached the lease agreement, but are you trying to get out of the apartment?
