Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Home was remodeled with out permits, we are now leasing it (just found out). We are starting to notice some issues landlords wont fix it they say there is no issues. What can we do?

Your lease agreement controls the obligations of the parties. Review that. Review it with an attorney. The unpermitted work only applies if the areas of concern relate to work not done to code and now causing a problem.
