Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

House eviction problem

I am an international student at Miami, FL. I have leased an apartment in a community here and living with 3 more roomies. Two days back, I suddenly got a call from the leasing office saying I haven't paid rent for 2 months and said we are going to be evicted. But I had paid the rents on time & I have the proof of the checks as well. When I showed them the proof, they said that more people are living in the apartment and also said that they had sent us notices. We haven�t received any notices from them. When asked for a copy, she hasn�t shown anything yet. Please give me some advice how to deal with this. Thank you very much for your services.

Read yourlease regarding roomates. That may be a breach of the lease.
