How can I get my Ex out of my house. He refuses to leave and does not pay any rent, but the police say that there is nothing they can do because this is his legal residence. He is a hopeless alcoholic and I want him out

You stated this is your ex - did you have a divorce wherein the house was given to you via quit claim deed? It is odd that the police would not remove him if you have that. Need more info to understand - contact my office for an appointment.
