the house I rent is being foreclosed on
I have been paying my rent on time every month since June 2007, I received a notice on 12/31/07 indicating that the proporty is being foreclosed on and that the mortgage has not been paid since July 2007. I signed a 12 month lease & I put down $3150.00 as a deposit. Since the landlord has not been paying the mortgage with the rent I have been paying her, has the landord voided the lease? If she hasn't been paying the mortage with the $7875 in rent I have paid, should I consider the deposit my next 2 month's rent & get out in 60 days? Do I have a esonable expectation that she has actually put my deposit in a separate account as she was required to? I don't want to just keep throwing good money after bad, but I also don't want to be evicted.

You cannot legally leave without the landlords' consent. Pay all future rent into court.
