Hi I have a few questions regard my right for moving out of an apartment after my lease is up and my landlord wants to keep my deposit after moving out. He claim that there were damages and when I went back for him to show me the damages he did not want to see me. I've made sure that I left the place the way I got it. I have taken pictures of the entire apartment before I left the place. Please help I dont know what to do to get my money back.

Google Florida Statute 83.49(3)(a). It basically says he has to give you notice by certified mail if he wants to keep any part of your deposit. If he doesn't, take him to small claims court and you win. End of story.

If he does give you the notice, you have to give him a written objection to the claim. Then you fight it out in small claims court.

Since you have photos, and since he wouldn't let you see the damages (the judge isn't going to like that), the odds are probably pretty good for you.
