Issues with rental property being sold

My landlord recently sold the property I am renting and advised me to be out by the first of June. I did inform her that I would be unable to find a new residence and move within that time span. Now the new owner has left me a letter demanding that I be out. I have never missed my rental payment and have no outstanding payments. Do I have the right to more time to move? Your help is greatly appreciated.

You are entitled to stay until your lease expires.

You don't mention what kind of lease you have. You are entitled to stay until your lease agreement expires. If your lease expired on June 15, then they did not have to renew it. If your lease go through to December, for instance, you can stay until that time. The sale of the property cannot affect the lease agreement in place before the sale -- unless there is a specific clause in the lease that would end the lease upon a sale of the property.
