Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
can a landlord charge for a carpet cleaning and a tube resurfasing? is this consider like a normal wear and tear use? i need help I live in florida and I do not have idea about the state laws

These are normal wear and tear unless you damaged the carpet or tub. Your lease may include a "cleaning fee". You need to read your lease. The landlord may not keep any of your damage deposit, unless:
1) you agree in writing, OR
2) the landlord gets a court order.
If your landlord kept your deposit, or is trying to keep any part of it....and you did not damage the apartment, take him/her to small claims court. Tell the judge your story, take photos, witnesses, references from prior landlords, whatever proof you have that substantiates your claim that you did not damage the carpeting or tub.
