Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

My landlord is evicting for non payment when I did pay him but can't prove it be cause he was my boss so I didn't bother asking for a recite but I've been living in unsafe conditions (the floor is giving out theirs a hole now straight threw to the ground) he said he was going to fix the problem it's been to mouths I told him I was going to report it and hold back rent to fix it that's when he started the evict I just found out the a friend that it's an completely illegal rental how should I move forward I don't want an eviction on my record

You should contact legal aid in your town and see a lawyer. Bring your lease.

Your unsafe conditions wont prevent your eviction now. You need to recreate the payments made AND you MUST pay the alleged rental to the Court registry to be able to challenge the eviction. If it is filed it is already on your record no way to eliminate it.
