Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

My landlord has not fixed my a.c. it has been two weeks. I've refused to give him any rent money until it's fixed. Am I in the wrong here? Is there any laws stating he has to provide a.c.?

Please see Florida Statute 83.51 for the obligations of the landlord. Provision of AC is not among the things the landlord must provide. However, if you have a lease, the landlord has a contractual obligation under that agreement. See your lease for whether the landlord must maintain AC in your dwelling.
