Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
As a landlord in Florida with a home that includes a rental unit attached to the house, how do I reduce or eliminate my liability related to our swimming pool? Is there a recommened doc or lease clause I need to have a renter sign?

First, get liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 to cover your pool and property. Second, require the renter to sign a comprehensive agreement as to pool safety, who can use the pool, and indemnifying you against liability. You will be smart to have an attorney draft this for you.
