Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Our landlord is being forclosed on, they have not paid the morgage since April. What do we do about paying our rent ? We do not wish to move and have the rent money but do not feel that we should give it to them if they are just taking it and not paying the morgage.

If you don't pay the rent, they will probably evict you. So long as you are not being forced out of the house (which may happen eventually), what do you care whether the landlord pays the mortgage? You aren't the bank.
If you have a lease, you need to make your rent payments otherwise your landlord can sue you. As to the foreclosure, unless you have been notified by the lender of the foreclosure, what happens to your landlord is not your concern at this moment. Most lenders when they foreclose on a property will send you notice and give you time to move or ask that you make your payments to them at an appropriate time and when the lease runs out, then you must move.
You owe the rent. What they do with the mortgage is their problem. You will need to pay or you may get evicetd.
If you still have possession, you are still obligated to pay rent. If not, the landlord may evict you. Regards,
