Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Who is our landlord after a foreclosure final judgment and before the auction date? We were served papers as \"unknown parties in possession of\" almost a year ago, we continued to live here with \"good faith\" that the situation would be remedied, as our landlord said it would be. The final judgment passed, however the auction date isn\'t for a couple months. Does this break the lease? And if not, is rent due to our landlord or the mortgage company?

It does not break the lease and the landlord is still the landlord until the property is actually sold at auction.
