Landlord in foreclosure - renter's rights
After just 3 months of a 12 month contract, a good, paying tenant was verbally informed by landlord that foreclosure on condo is happening and that tenant would have to move. This is a burden on the tenant. What are rights of tenant? When does move have to take place? What are the responsiblities of landlord?

Until court orders you to move, you do not have to. You may able to make an arrangement with the lender.

This is a difficult situation but if the landlord is in foreclosure, the chances of getting anything from them is probably slim or none. Since your landlord has informed you that you would have to move, it seems obvioius that he/she will not be able to save the property from the foreclosure. You should try to make arrangements with the lendor (Plaintiff) to pay rent directly to them so that you can stay as long as possible in the residence.
