landlord not returning deposit

What legal action can i do to get my deposit owed to me from a landlord. My wife and I rented an apartment and fullfilled all our contractural responsibilities. It has been over two months and we left the apartment clean and gave our thirty days notice. Altough the amount is approximatly $700 it is still the principal that I want rectified. Thank you

You may sue for its return plus damages in Small Claims Court. I refer you to Florida Statute Section 83. Good luck.
