Can a landlord tell you that you can not have anyone stay at the apt. you are renting. and have you evicted on that ground.

Your lease agreement controls. If it prevents anyone other than yourself from staying, even temporarily, than it may be grounds for termination and eviction. Have your lease reviewed by an attorney.

Depends on what the lease states. Are you limited as to how many people can live in the unit? If not, then no.
