Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Landlord Tenant Paperwork issue
The apartment complex where I live refuses to fill out a verification form from another complex that I have applied for an apartment with. The current apartment complex states ''their policy is not to fill them out'' without my giving notice to move. I do not want to give notice until I am sure I will have a place to go and the correct time frame needed. Can they do this legally? No where in my lease does it state their policy procedures. Thank you for your help

They are not required to fill out anything. It is a courtesy only.
