Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
landlord turned off water
I have been a tenant of this building (restaurant) since 2004. Water has always been included with the rent, however, the lease just says tenant is responsibile for utilities. (we pay our own electric, gas, trash, etc) Without any communication, Landlord turned off water two days ago. Obviously , a food service establishment can not operate w/o water. What's the best recourse?

Re: landlord turned off water
Water is a utility. Arrange for transfer of water into your name. Landlord had no right to turn off water. If you have suffered any monetary damage, he is responsbile.
