Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Landlord Underforeclosure: Rented through a Real Estate Company

My fiance and I rented our townhouse through Century 21. Our deposits were paid directly to them.

We got a letter in the mail about a ''Motion for Summary Judgement and Motion for Attorneys Fees.'' I am not sure of what exactly this mean.

In the paperwork it states from the loan company: ''Accrued interest from july 1,2007 to April 5, 2008'' - does this mean that the landlord hasn't been paying since the day we moved in? Because we moved in July 1st.

Now obviously, we keep paying rent. We aren't looking for a free ride. But we need to know if we should pay the rent to the court system? What? Who do we pay to?

Also, in terms of deposits, my fiance is worried that we aren't going to get our deposits back since the landlord is in a bad money spot. But my dad said that since we paid the deposits to the real estate company we shouldn't have a problem.

Pretty much: what is going to happen to our money?
