landlord/tenants renewig lease
my lease is up may1st. 2009 .we asked the owner of the house if we can renew he said he needed to ralk it over with his partner that was mid feb. still no answer they have last mth rent 1300 and 1300sec total2600 we are currently 800 late on marc rent we've been paying 400 a week to get caught up i need to know how long they have to let us know if were renewing or moving we are grandparents raising our 18 month old grandson so i need as much time as legaly possible if we have to move there wasn't anything reguarding this matter in our lease thank you for your time and help in thi matter lisa

If you have no right to renew, they need not do so and need not say anything to you. They have as long as they want to offer to renew.
