Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
the lease to my house is in my roomates name.my roomate was arrested and is still in jail.I had the electric turned on in my name since day one we rented this house.the water sewer and garbage are in my name.now my landlord says I got to be out buy tomorow because my name is not on the lease.do I have to move out?The rent is paid until February.

They cannot just force you out. They would have to evict you, at best, and they need to follow proper statutory procedure. You may have a problem longterm since you are not the lease, although the lease needs to be reviewed to see if your presence was anticipated. Seek some legal help with your paperwork.
