lease vs month to month

I am currently a tenant that has a renewed lease signed by a property manager. The Landlord states that this is not legally binding since he did not sign the lease. He did not sign the initial lease we received upon moving into the property, the property manager did. Am I correct to assume that my lease is valid?

If the property manager was authorized to sign, it is valid.

You are probably fine, as I suspect that the property manager is his agent.
