No Lease,Moved out, can I be sued?

I moved in with a friend and her boyfriend on June 1 2008. I never signed the lease and I paid for 1/3 of everything, I gave my money directly to my friend so the land lord wouldnt have a paper trail of my being there. I moved out August 15 that same year and now she is calling threatening to sue me beacuse I didnt keep up my part of the lease. . . I NEVER SIGNED A LEASE. Can she sue me for that?

sounds like you had an agreement with your roomate. That is the agreement she is upset about. If you had an agreement, she can sue you if you breached its terms.
