if you leave your trash next to a community compactor at your apartment complex even though you signed a contract stating that you would not leave it outside the compactor, can your apartment officials legally copies documents like bills, reciepts, and other such personal mail?

I would not leave important documents such as bills, receipts, or other personal mail outside (or in a community area) where anyone can access them. I would shred anything with important personal information by hand or machine and make sure I put it in the compactor to protect myself from not only apartment officials but anyone else that may walk by. And if you signed a contract agreeing to do something, then you generally have a duty to do it.
