Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

The letter my previous landlord sent me doesn't make any since. At the top it stats that he will impose a $250 charge on my security deposit. Then it has some late fees that I owe. Then at the bottom it says amount owed to tenant is $250. I think he did not write it correctly. Does it matter that he made the mistake since at the top of the letter it states He would be withholding $250 from my $1150 deposit? So am i entitled to a $900 refund?

Impossible to answer your inquiry without seeing the document. Ask your landlord. If you had a 1150 security deposit and he is imposing 250 in charges the balance is 900. if he is collecting some late fees as well that likely would reduce what he is going to pay you back.
