Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I live in an apartment and for over 3 months now the people that live below us leave their dog home from 7:30am to 8:pm everyday and it barks non stop! It is driving us nuts! We have gone to our office, animal control, and the cops, and not much has happened we keep getting pushed over.We have complained to the office almost everyday that it has happened. Now there is a new manager in the office that is pretty much telling us we have to deal with the dog because the lady that lives below us has to work. I am having major anxiety issues, I can't get sleep. My boyfriend who is on the lease had heart surgery in July and sometimes cant even stay here because the noise is making him insane and he has to try to keep his blood pressure down. The people below us were told to get rid of the dog by the end of December, here it is January 3 and the dog is still barking and the office isn't doing anything to get rid of it. We've asked to lower our rent or do something to compensate us and they won't do anything to help us.Is there legal action we can take?

Yes, document and RECORD the barking dog, for 8 hours if you have to....

Then tell the landlord that you are moving out. Don't move until you have an attorney have a discussion with your landlord. Sometimes a letter from a lawyer can get a landlord to do the right thing.
