Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

i live in an apt with my bf. His name is first on our lease and mine is second. They did the credit check on him and not me. Hes claiming now he wants me to move out. Does he have more rights then me to stay? and if he does what does he have to do to get out? My mail comes here and i pay the utility bills and i buy all the food for us. We live in Florida.

He does not have more rights than you do just because his name is written first. You are both responsible/liable under the lease agreement. If you move out and he doesn't pay, then the landlord can go after you. You will have to check your lease to see if you can terminate early. If your landlord agrees to something else, then make sure you put in a signed writing.
