Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I have a live in boyfriend.. just recently moved into another house and in the commotionof moving and signing the new lease he signed it.. so him being without work for almost a year and me not knowing if he is even looking for a job I really need him to go but he says he's on the lease and he's not leaving. He verbally abusive and has been threatening. I don't want him to go to jail I just want him out.. what can I do in form of eviction.. and protect my things. I'm also afraid he might take my valuables and pawn them while I'm at work.

Since he is on the lease, you cannot evict. You may seek Order of Protection barring him from the premises from family court
Mr. Slater is correct you cannot evict him unless he is not paying for his share of the expenses, like 50% of the rental. I would also suggest that if you notify him of such action, you should also file for the Protection Order simultaneously otherwise you put yourself at risk of harm in his reaction to the action. In order to get the Protection Order you will need to allege that you are in fear of your person and follow the statutory language or it will be denied.
My colleagues are correct. However, you did not state whether you signed the lease. If you did not, then just move and leave him to deal with the landlord.
