If the house is not in your name, you are either a renter or a guest. If you had an oral contract regarding your payment of the "bills", you may be entitled to compensation for bills that you paid on her behalf. You will have problems proving that she "gave" you (or someone else) the house as a "gift". Whoever's name is on the deed is presumed to be the owner, and they can evict you if they want. This is a high hurdle to get over in court, to show that you somehow have rights to the title of the property.
